Alpine Lodge
Looking for that perfect place to hold your
birthday party, wedding reception, or family reunion?
Then the California Alpine Club's rustic Lodge, nestled amid the scenic
slops of Mt. Tamalpias, offers a spacious meeting room, commercical
kitchen facilities, a rock-walled living room with fireplace,
a glass-enclosed dining porch, an outdoor deck with serene vistas,
and a large comfortable upstairs sleeping area
with private room accommodations.
Ballroom
The large meeting room boasts a hardwood dance floor,
a large retractable overhead screen for viewing videos/slides
and affords ample room for 135 persons.
There are ten folding rectangular tables (each seats 8-10 people)
and 85 folding chairs.

Dining Room
The glass-enclosed dining porch, surrounded by views of the grounds,
holds four large tables with eight benches that seat up to 40 people.

Kitchen
The commercial-class kitchen,
well equipped for large or small groups,
stocks simple stainless steel flatware
and plates, cups, and glasses for 90 people.
two stoves (5-6 burners each), three sinks, two refrigerators,
dishwasher, three percolator coffee makers, and two autodrip coffee makers.

Living Room
The rock-walled living room, highlighted by a large wood-burning
fireplace, affords a touch of warm with comfortable couches, chairs
and round tables.

Outside Porch
The open deck outside the dining porch, encircled by tall redwood trees
and a panorama of the Corte Madera ridge, sports six glass-topped tables
with umbrellas and 38 outdoor-use chairs.

Large Upstairs Bedroom
The roomy upstairs area houses beds for 14 people,
two private rooms (one with two beds and one with three)
and a large bathroom with two toilets, two basins, and shower.
You provide your own towels and sheets or sleeping bags for your comfort.
