model:
 the model rocks!
 yes folks, imber and DavisTodd brought the too-scale model they made
 to the meeting. it totally rules. 1cm=1foot
 and the poles (made of flexy straws) are color coded to match
 the color coding of the tent poles.
 way to go!


roof:
 all the material for the roof has been purchase and acquired.
 (90% shade cloth in "rivergum")
 using the too-scale model,
 much visualizing was done.
 sewing begins tonight! (form has no night life for the next two weeks :)
 we decided to make 14 roof sections
 8 triangle corner sections and 6 rectable center sections.


roof tent test run:
 imber and form are making two roof sections for sunday (1 center, 1 corner)
 and plan to do a roof tent test run on sunday
 SUNDAY roof tent test run. (when?)


domes and dome test run:
 material for 3 domes are being delivered on monday morning.
 the plan is to do a dome test run that evening
 MONDAY evening, dome test run
 not many people are needed, but if you want to see what they look like
 be at 530 hampshire on monday 16aug at 7-7:30

 *-JAY-*,, can you check and see if you do indeed have the material
 for the fourth dome.


parachutes:
 we are getting one from seth.
 we need TWO MORE! 


setup crew:
 so far consists of
 Imber and JimP in the Love Dodge (or imber's jeep)
 MikeK and DavisTodd in a truck
 Form and Julie?(if she doesn't have VC meetings) in a truck
 Dean in his car
 anyone else going up on sunday?


food and JIB
 lucy and paul are collaborating on food.
 go food team!
 (don't forget those chocolate-coverd coffee beans :)
 the food team will also take care of storing the food (coolers etc...)


refrigerator
 we keep talking about it and have made NO progress
 julie looked into her source, and it was a dud.
 anyone else?
 we are looking for a medium sized "college" fridge
 form might donate his home fridge (as it doesn't have much in it anyways)
 but its huge.


tables
 we need more
 bianca has one, maybe two tables
 eddy has one 6' table
 we need atleast 4 good tables
 dean says they are $35 at OfficeDepot/Max


doors, milk crates
 we have 5 doors
 austin is looking at BR for 5 more
 we now have ENOUGH milk crates. no more milk crates.


ladders:
 dan has a ladder
 shawan may have a ladder
 we need atleast two 6'+ ladders
 should we rent one?


mister:
 eddy got some misting materials
 thought is to make one of the domes a mist dome.
 we need water for the mister


kitchen:
 the kitchen will be a 8foot high 30foot addition to one end of the tent.
 10 feet of the 30 will be open to the public. 20 feet will be "hidden"
 we have plenty of tarp or 60% shade cloth to cover the kitchen
 the kitchen needs a water supply
 5-10 5gal jugs should be good.
 can anyone *borrow* 5-10 5gal jugs from their office?
 (we've returned them every year, so its not theft)


wood:
 we need lots of 2x4s. cheap 2x4s
 austin and form will look into getting these


power tools:
 if you've got a power tool, please bring it.


dj area:
 the dj area will be a 8foot high 10foot wide adition to oen end of the tent.
 the dj area will be able to see into the tent and onto the courtyard.
 dean is bringing his cd dj setup
 squishy says he may bring his 
 someone from DC is bring a turntable(s) setup
 form has a mixer if need be
 dean will take care of protecting equipment against the elements


showers:
 christina and ann are heading up all shower efforts
 there will be a shower area.
 christina brought her sketch for the shower.
 it will rock!
